Reviewed 2 primary sourcesSee sources

Americana DM and DMA refrigerators don’t show numbered codes. A CHECK light, with a buzzer on newer DM/DMA models, means the gas burner didn’t light.

CodeMeaningWhat to doWho fixes it
CHECK lampThe burner failed to light in gas mode after about 45 seconds of tries.Turn the refrigerator off and on to retry. After storage or a tank refill, air in the line may need 3–4 tries to purge. If it still won’t run on gas, turn it off and contact a Dometic dealer or service center.[1]Check, then service if it persists
Limp modeThe control can’t read the temperature sensor, so it runs the cooling unit continuously on the available energy source. The manual gives no owner step; the sensor must be replaced and the system reset.[1]Technician
