RV dump station fees and public access
On this page
The fee on a dump-station page may apply only to members, storage tenants or campers. Check the rate for your visit before choosing a stop. Our first two area comparisons contain both paid and free options, with different access rules.
Listed fees in our first two areas
| Stop | Listed visitor fee | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Dalby Drive, Colorado Springs | $30 per public use | Call ahead; public visits are limited to office hours. Members pay $15. |
| Pikes Peak RV, Colorado Springs | $25 for the advertised dump service | Confirm visitor access and use the dump-specific hours. |
| Falcon Self Storage, Falcon | Public fee not stated | Non-tenants pay a fee; the free rate is for storage tenants. |
| City of Meridian, near Boise | Free for residential RV waste | No commercial use, trash service or potable water. |
| Boise Riverside, Garden City | $10 for dump service | Passing travelers are welcome; confirm dump hours. |
These are operator-listed facts checked on October 13, 2026. They are a local sample, not a national price range. We have not called or visited the stops.
Ask whether your visit is allowed
A campground may have a dump station for its guests. A storage lot may offer free dumping to tenants while charging visitors. Neither type of site establishes that you can turn up at any time.
Ask: “Can I use the dump station without staying or storing my RV there? What will it cost for one visit?” Give the operator your arrival day and RV size. Ask about an appointment, gate procedure and payment method.
Check the dump hours
Gate hours, office hours and dump hours can differ. Dalby explicitly limits public use to office hours. Pikes Peak’s dump-specific section lists a Saturday closing time of 4 p.m.; some general dealership hours are different.
Use the service-specific information and ask about any closure before you drive over. A website’s hours do not prove that the station is working today.
Check water separately
Free dumping does not include a drinking-water fill by default. Meridian’s city source explicitly says there is no potable water at its residential dump. Ask about a public potable tap and a separate fill fee if you need fresh water.
